As the starting point of the new Silk Road, Keqiao is one of the world renowned gathering places for textile enterprises and one of the textile distributing centers. Every year, fabrics worth over $10 billion are transported to every part of the world, which contributes to the warm and decent life.

Keqiao Textile Expo is a Chinese professional expo with its place of origin and distributing center for textile. Since it was founded 27 years ago, Keqiao Textile Expo has been adhering to the concept of setting global textile trend, demonstrating fashion technology charm, accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading and building supply and demand platform. It has developed into one of three major domestic textile exhibitions, together with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics and Canton Fair Fabrics Pavilion.

1999年，纺博会正式创办，时名“中国轻纺城纺织品博览会”；

2006年起，纺博会被商务部列为重点支持展会；

2008年4月，在历届纺博会成功运作的基础上，绍兴市柯桥区首次推出春季纺博会，从而开创了一年举办春秋两季纺博会的局面；

同年10月，经国务院批准，纺博会更名为“中国柯桥国际纺织品博览会”；

2024年，春季纺博会设展位1400余个，参展企业600余家，其中境外企业20家，总展览面积达3.5万平方米，同比增长25%，规模为历届春季纺博会之最。本次展会分面料展区、国际展区、服装展区、时尚设计展区四大展区，同期举办2024纺织服装标准与质量管理大会柯桥峰会、2024全球纺织新材料创新发展高峰论坛、

2024时尚设计展（春季）等活动。会期三天入场专业采购商总人数突破7万人次。

The first China Textile Expo which was then named "China

Textile City Textile Expo" was held in 1999.

Since 2006, China (Shaoxing) Textile Expo has been listed as a substantially-supporting exhibition by the Ministry of Commerce.

In April 2008, Keqiao District launched China (Keqiao) Textile Expo (Spring) for the first time on the basis of the successful operation of previous exhibitions, and it began to hold China (Keqiao) Textile Expo twice (Spring, Autumn) a year.

In October 2008, China Textile Expo was renamed as "China Keqiao International Textile Expo" under the approval of the State Council.

In spring 2024, Keqiao Textile Expo covered an exhibition area of 35,000 square meters with more than 1400 booths from more than 600 exhibitors, including 20 overseas enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 25%, and the scale was the largest in the previous Spring Textile Expo. Fashion Design Show (Spring) and other activities were also held at the same time. During the three-day event, the total number of professional buyers exceeded 70,000.
